Announcing the first-ever FPIES Telecoaching Platform
I-FPIES is proud to soon launch “Loni’s Lounge,” the first-ever telecoaching platform designed to meet the real-life management and needs of pediatric and adult FPIES patients and their families.
Inspired by the FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER) patient-focused drug development initiative, the program will provide ancillary support and feature experts in nutrition, feeding therapy, research, and supportive counseling, as well as medical and governmental societies to educate and interact with patients. Through both programmed webinars and live telecoaching sessions, the patient voice is prioritized to develop nd provide psychosocial and practical management interventions, while assessing future areas of need to accurately address the challenges they face. From the comfort of their home, patients will have screen-to-screen access to experts in 504 plans, FPIES-friendly food shopping, cooking with safe ingredients, caregiver education, best practices for prepared travel experiences and much much more! The platform will be offered free to I-FPIES members and is a hands-on experience to reduce the daily burdens patients and families face in their home, school and social enviroments, improving their quality of life through empowerment.
IFPIES is here to encourage our patients on their journey and provide the one-on-one support that every patient, everywhere, deserves. Interested sponsors, please email contact@fpies.org.
Special thanks to Dr. Allan Stillerman and his late wife Loni Stillerman for inspiring this program.
